Word Layout Vs RDL Layout Structure

Now you can create (example for a new report) only the Word Layout Structure and not RDL Layout, also you can create a RDL report structure on Sql Reporting and after import in Report structure;

You can also use linked subreports on rdl report layout (if necessary) and use in your rdlc report like standard reporting services, you need report viewer 2014 to display rdl layout.

You can define default report layout and after personalize your reports layouts with Modify, Import & Export features.

You can download many word reports templates directly from "OfficeOnline" Word templates and use it as new Word Layout, you only need to select fields from XML fields Repositorys and drag&drop on layout.
