Dynamics NAV SQL Server Runtime License Issues

There is a Runtime License for SQL Server: SQL Server 2005 for Microsoft Dynamics. This Runtime License is cheaper than a full license. The restrictions of this runtime license is that you can only install (one or more?) dynamics database(s) on the SQL Server   (At least ... This SHOULD be the limitations ... I didn't test this) The Runtime version of SQL Server comes in two versions    SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition (x86) Runtime for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Sql Server 2000 ENT AWE Configuration

Seguire questi passi per abilitare Windows 2003 e SQL Server all'utilizzo di AWE Windows Server AWE Support nel Boot.ini  -->  aggiungere opzioni  /3GB /PAE Supporto AWE per SQL Server sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1RECONFIGUREGO sp_configure 'awe enabled', 1RECONFIGURE GOsp_configure 'max server memory', 5000  (esempio con 5gb ram)RECONFIGUREGO

Sql Server Best Practice Analyzer 2000/2005

Microsoft ha rilasciato gli strumenti per verificare il corretto setup ed utilizzo di sql server, dei database e dei servizi aggiuntivi correlati (Analisys Services, Integration Services etc.) L'analizzatore verifica puntualmente i parametri settati e da indicazioni su come impostarli al meglio rispetto alle linee guida standard Microsoft; dato che sono stato anche beta tester di questa utility posso garantire che funziona bene e da indicazioni interessanti.
