A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.4.0 was generated for
recipient rfc822;nome@azienda.com (Message-ID
<7406AFA195507943B258D3AD834FD2202D1498@nomemioserver>).
Causes: This message indicates a DNS problem or an IP address configuration
problem
Solution: Check the DNS using nslookup or dnsq. Verify the IP address is in
IPv4 literal format.
OK. The IPs of all of your mail server(s) have reverse DNS (PTR) entries.
RFC1912 2.1 says you should have a reverse DNS for all your mail servers. It
is strongly urged that you have them, as many mailservers will not accept
mail from mailservers with no reverse DNS entry. Note that this information
is cached, so if you changed it recently, it will not be reflected here (see
the www.DNSstuff.com Reverse DNS Tool for the current data). The reverse DNS
entries are:
xx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa net134-030.mclink.it. [TTL=82609]
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa mail.nomeazienda.it [TTL=82609]
