Cumulative Hotfix for SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 - Build 2187

Il 28 gennaio segnalai la sospensione della hotfix 8.00.2162 a causa di due gravi problemi.Oggi Microsoft ha rilasciato l'hotfix 8.00.2187 che va a sostituire quella incriminata.Potete scaricarla dai seguenti links:• Build 2187 for x86 and x64 Based Systems• Build 2187 for Itanium-based Systems

070-441: PRO: Designing Database Solutions by Using Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005

Oggi ho provato a ridare l'esame 070-441 che diedi in beta lo scorso novembre ma con magri risultati.Questa volta sono stato più fortunato raggiungendo uno score di 925/1000 con un passing score di 700. L'esame era costituito da 6 scenari (esattamente come il beta!! ) per un totale di 56 domande e con un tempo complessivo di 210 minuti.Appena avviata la prova inizio a leggere velocemente le solite note introduttive quando il PC si freezza. Leggendo alcune risposte del SQL Server MVP Linchi Shea, ho visto che consigliava di scaricare il tool SQLPing per recuperare informazioni di una istanza SQL Server 2000 o superiore senza la necessità di effettuare alcun tipo di autenticazione.In realtà quella pagina è ricchissima di utility gratuite che potranno entrare a far parte del vostro set di strumenti di lavoro.
