A vulnerability was identified in Microsoft ASP.NET, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is due to an input validation error in the "System.Xml.Serialization" method that does not properly handle specially crafted SOAP messages, which could be exploited by attackers to cause the "aspnet_wp.exe" process to consume 100% of the system resources.
