Non c'è che dire il team di sviluppo dei pattern&pratices non riesce proprio a stare fermo e sforna sempre nuove applicazioni.
Dopo Enterprise Library for .NET Framework 2.0, e anche il Smart Client Factory e qualche settimana fà il Mobile Client Software Factory, adesso hanno creato il Web Services Software Factory che è un insieme di tool, pattern e guide per sviluppare e integrare i web services.

Il pacchetto include:

• Designing messages and service interfaces.
  
• Applying exception shielding and handling.
  
• Designing business entities in the domain model.
  
• Translating messages to and from business entities.
  
• Designing, building, and invoking the data access layer.
  
• Planning for the migration to Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

Per ora il codice sorgente è in c# prossimamente verrà rilasciato anche in vb.net
