5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BUYING MUT COINS

For everyone to enjoy Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) as intended, the game must maintain a level playing field, a healthy Auction House and a gameplay environment with equal opportunity for all.

MUT Coin Sellers ruin that experience by creating imbalances in competition, market prices, and earning rewards.

Anyone participating in selling or buying Coins lessens the MUT experience for everyone. Here is why:

1. RAISES AUCTION PRICES

When Coin Buyers buy cheap Items from the Auction House, they take away opportunities to buy cheap Items from players who earned their Coins legitimately. This shifts the market of the game in favor of the Coin Buyers.

2. SLOWS YOUR PROGRESS

It’s harder for a legitimate user to make long-term progress when fighting against Coin Buyers on the Auction House who can more easily purchase items to build a team or complete a set.
3. UNLEVELS THE PLAYING FIELD

A Coin Buyer builds a better team without earning it, and then defeats legitimate players in Head-to-Head Seasons games. The Coin Buyer steals the rewards of Coins and Packs that rightfully belong to legitimate players.
4. YOUR INFO CAN BE STOLEN

“Phishing” schemes can pose as Coin Sellers to steal user login information. They engage the buyer in a transaction and steal the buyer’s info to access that account and steal everything from it. This can lead to the compromise of all accounts owned by that user.
5. IT’S AGAINST THE RULES

Virtual currency should be earned and spent only within the game itself, and never affected by outside currency. Buying Coins may result in acquiring stolen content, even if you’re not the user who stole it.

Buying Coins, selling Coins, or promoting Coin Selling violates the Terms of Service and can result in actions against an account, up to and including a MUT and/or console ban.
